Network Infrastructure Security

Course Description
A company's network is
its information infrastructure. If you can keep the network secure, you can
keep the systems on that network secure.
This course provides the
skills needed to secure a modern LAN network. It
teaches how to enforce security on firewalls, routers,
and switches
and how to monitor the overall network to detect and prevent against
attacks.
The course features hands-on work
on Cisco network devices and Linux-based monitoring systems. The
student learns how to enable the most important
security-related features and how to manage network security
on an ongoing basis.
All skills and knowledge gained are directly applicable toward the
CompTIA Security+ certification.
